關山國小簡介
「半畝方塘一鑑開，天光雲影共徘徊，問渠那得清如許，為有源頭活水來。」關山國民小學位處臺東縣縱谷區菁華區，人文薈萃。本校背依中央山脈之楠山與雲水山之麓，面對新武呂溪與海岸山脈相望，青翠靄靄，泉水處處；「地理藏天理，山川歸明鑑」，百年來桃李滿天下造就了無數棟樑之材。

If you wonder why is it so clear inside, that’s because fresh water is flowing in from time to time.” Located at the core of East Rift Valley, Guanshan Elementary School is also the concentration of intellectual elite. This school is surrounded by the Central Mountains, New Wu Lu Creek and the Coast Mountains. Over the past decades, we’ve fostered innumerable talents.
本校創立於民國前六年三月，走過百年歲月，承蒙歷任校長苦心經營與在校老師的諄諄教誨，關山國小始終是臺東縣縱谷區最耀眼的明星，舉凡學生學業成績、各項學藝競賽，以及學校所展現出來的團隊效能，維持學校百年優良傳統聲勢不墜。
This school was established in March, 1905. Thanks to hard-working principals and the many contributions of teachers, Guanshan Elementary School has been being a shining star of the East Rift Valley for years. Students’ academic performance, success in competitions of many kinds, and teamwork along with the efficiency of the staff make the school’s reputation as great as possible.
在後現代全球化的潮流下，關山國小邁向下一個百年之際，本校亟思發展學校本位特色：以精緻教育理念，用心地規劃教育架構，多元化的教學策略，體貼溫馨的班級經營模式，積極辦理學生課後照顧與補救教學，把每個孩子帶上來；進行閱讀教學活動，發展客語生活學校，推動山野教育課程；發展學生社團：合唱團、直笛隊、棒球隊、大鼓舞獅隊及兒童舞蹈與桌球等團隊，開啟學生多元智能的學習與發展，並適時給孩子舞台展現自我。
Because of the trend of postmodern globalization, it’s time for us to think about our own special classes. We design our curriculum using Betterness Education ideas as the foundation. We try to bring every child up using multivariate teaching strategies, considerate class management models and after school classes. What’s more, we’ve initiated reading activities as well as Hakka School and mountain classes. For students’ multiple intelligence learning, we have clubs like chorus, recorder, baseball, drums and lion-dancing, dancing, and table tennis, providing stages to showcase the many talents of our students.
因應老年人學習需求，設置樂齡學習中心；推展社區民眾多元學習，開設多功能學習中心；服務越來越多的外籍配偶家庭，籌辦外籍配偶才藝班…等等，皆是邁向多元與符應現今社會的需求，終身學習為目的。深耕社區裡的每個族群與家庭，而達到學校社區化的教育目的，真正做到「快樂學習、幸福生活、卓越關山」的學校教育目標。
For the learning needs of elders, we established a senior citizens learning center to promote multiple classes for the community. For the increasing number of Foreign-mother families, we established a multi-function learning center to provide services to them. We try to benefit our society and satisfy every need, making lifelong learning possible. We care for every group and every family in Guanshan. Embodying the slogan “Happy Learning, Happy living, excellent Guanshan” is our final goal.
